Managing Forums

A forum is an on-line discussion within a conference. Forums typically focus on particular topics. As an example, if you set up a conference called "Web development tools," you might populate it with forums called "programming tools," "HTML editors," and "Misc. utilities."

Forums are set up and maintained by a conference administrator or a conference manager. There can be any number of forums within a conference. Also, forums can be shared or viewed among any number of conferences.

Summary of forum management

As the administrator, you define forums and determine how these forums will be divided among available conferences. You also determine which groups have access to forums you've created and the access permissions those groups have in the forum.
