Giving a Group Moderator Permissions for a Forum

With the Conference Manager, you can give members of a group moderator permissions for every forum in a conference. But, to limit a group's moderator permissions to a specific forum, you use the Forum Manager.

To give a group moderator permissions:

  1. Open the Forum Manager and select the forum you want to edit.
  2. Click the Groups button.
  3. Select the group name in the Assigned Groups list box and click the Rights button.
  4. Click the Access and moderation enabled radio button and click Finish.

This option allows you to limit forum moderation to a particular group within a conference.
