Giving a Group Moderator Permissions for a Forum
With the Conference Manager, you can give members of a group moderator permissions for every forum in a conference. But, to limit a group's moderator permissions to a specific forum, you use the Forum Manager.
To give a group moderator permissions:
- Open the Forum Manager and select the forum you want to edit.
- Click the Groups button.
- Select the group name in the Assigned Groups list box and click the Rights button.
- Click the Access and moderation enabled radio button and click Finish.
This option allows you to limit forum moderation to a particular group within a conference.
